Josiane Fradette is a visual effects producer at Industrial Light & Magic. Originally from Montréal, Canada, Fradette pursued academic studies in Cinema and Literature at the Université de Montréal. After graduating, she began her professional journey in post-production, initially taking on the role of Post-Production Manager and managing various stages of filmmaking.
Over the years, Josiane steadily gravitated toward the world of visual effects, recognizing it as a space where she could cultivate her project management talents while engaging more closely with the creative process. Before joining Industrial Light & Magic (ILM), she gained valuable experience working as a Visual Effects Producer at companies such as Mels Studio, Raynault VFX, and Framestore.
In 2019, Josiane relocated to Singapore to join Industrial Light & Magic. Since her arrival, she has served as an Associate Producer on several high-profile feature films, notably Free Guy (2021), Coming to America 2 (2021), and Jurassic World Dominion (2022).
Beyond those projects, she took on a Visual Effects Producer role at ILM for Deadpool & Wolverine (2025), contributing significantly to the production of its visual effects. Most recently, she held the position of Visual Effects Producer on Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023), where her responsibilities encompassed oversight of VFX production at ILM.
Across more than 15 years in the industry, Josiane Fradette has built a versatile and impactful career, progressing from post-production management to visual effects production on major feature films, and demonstrating both technical and creative leadership throughout her journey. |
