The Recipe Bin: Caribbean - Salads



    Jamaican Cole Slaw
     

     
    4 cups Shredded Cabbage
    ¼ cup Shredded Carrots
    ½ cup Chopped Walnuts
    ½ cup Mayonnaise
    2 tbsp Sugar
    1 tbsp Cider Vinegar
    1 tbsp Dry Jerk Seasoning
     

     
      • Combine the cabbage, carrots and nuts in a large bowl; set aside. Mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and seasoning. Spoon over cabbage mixture and toss well. Cover and chill before serving.
     

    Makes approximately 8 servings.
