| Quentin and Amanda talk early in the morning at the rectory before time to leave for the morning train. Trask arrives at Collinwood upset that Amanda is gone and blames Quentin. Nora finds Quentin packing, and is sent by Quentin with a note to give to Amanda at the rectory. Quentin confronts Tate about the stolen painting after Petofi told him he did not take it. Trask follows Nora and takes the note from her at the rectory. Trask lies to Amanda. Quentin leaves for the station where we see the train 'all aboard' but Amanda is alone. | |
