Blake having met Kerr Avon, Vila and Jena, makes an attempt to take over the 'London' which is flying them to the Cygnus Alpha prison. The crew of the 'London' becomes distracted when they encounter a unknown object in space giving Blake and his new friends the perfect chance to make a break for it. Later, they are given a chance encounter that will change their odds of fighting the Federation and winning.
