The finale of the Viewaskewniverse series of movies finishes with a bong, er, uh, bang. Not even close to the best of the series, but definately a fun trip. Kev rips on everything and everyone with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek. I will admit that this film is NOT for everyone, but if you enjoyed the previous films you should enjoy this one as well.
[Silent Bob attempts to get his point across with pantomime.] Jay: Why don't you just say it? Silent Bob: [grabbing Jay by the collar] The sign on the back of the car said "Critters Of Hollywood", you dumb f**k! Jay: [mutters] Say it, don't spray it.
Jay: What the f**k are you bitches babbling about?
Holden: If the buzz is any indicator, that movie's gonna make some huge bank. Jay: What buzz? Holden: The Internet buzz. Jay: What the f**k is the Internet?!
Jay: Yo lunchbox, hurry it up!
Jay: Affleck, you the bomb in Phantoms. Yo!
In an effort to drive up the box office gross for his film, Kevin Smith gave away autographed mini-posters to all fans that sent in ticket stubs indicating they went to see it on 24 or 25 August 2001.
The original plot involved Jay and Silent Bob trying to save their beloved Quik Stop.
Cast members Sean William Scott, Jason Biggs, Shannen Elizabeth, and Eli Marienthal were filming this movie around the same time as American Pie 2 (2001).
This is the fifth and final film in Kevin Smith's intricately interconnected View Askewniverse series (the first four being Clerks., Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma). The movies are all linked by characters, themes and events and each contains numerous references to the others.
The rocket pack from The Rocketeer, the Cirrus X-3, is hanging beside the bongsaber in the utility display in the Bluntcave.

Like Smith's other films, this one closes with a snippet of Jay's dialogue
Instead of "Jay and Silent Bob Will Return In...", it now reads, "Jay and Silent Bob have left the building." There is then a clip of Jay saying "Snoogans".
After the credits, That Woman (God) closes the book on the View Askewniverse and prances away
No animals were harmed during the making of this film, but some internet snipers got their asses handed to them.

Anybody who uses the insults contained in this film on any gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or heterosexual person --real, percieved or imaginary-- is a total dumbass!
