Quotes:

  • Tatum: Billy and his penis don't deserve you.

  • Casey: Who's there?
Ghostface: Never say who's there? Don't you watch scary movies? It's a death wish. You might as well come out to investigate a strange noise or something.

  • Billy: Now, now, Syd. Movies don't create psychos. Movies make psychos more creative.

  • Reporter: Sidney, how does it feel to be almost brutally butchered? How does it feel? People have a right to know!

  • Randy: Listen up. They found Mr. Himbry dead. He was gutted and hung from the goal post on the football field.
Drunk Teen: Well what are we waiting for? Lets go over there before they pry him down!

Trivia:

  • Many references to horror films/characters.

  • The school janitor Fred (played by Wes Craven) can be seen wearing Freddy Krueger's outfit from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • When Sidney comes out of the closet and stabs Billy with an umbrella, the stunt man was supposed to hit a pad on Skeet Ulrichs' chest. The first hit got the pad but the second one slipped and hit him in the chest (you can see it in his reaction too). Wes kept it in because of its authenticity.

  • The song "Don't Fear the Reaper" can be heard; in Halloween, Annie and Laurie listen to it in the car.

  • Linda Blair makes a cameo as the reporter who says "the people demand to know the truth."

Credits Fun:

  • No thanks whatsoever to the Santa Rosa City School District Governing Board.

  • Just before the end credits start to roll, there is a quick flash of Ghostface, it happens so quick, it causes the viewer to doubt they actually saw it.
