The First Order is not the Empire. We are purer. We have been through the crucible and emerged stronger.

Captain Phasma was the commander and one of the triumvirate of the First Order's stormtrooper force. A battle-hardened veteran, she controlled the action even when she wasn’t at the forefront of it. Gwendoline Christie, who played the tough as nails space soldier, described her character as malevolent and sadistic, perhaps character traits that enabled Phasma to become such a high ranking stormtrooper. Her brutish personality didn’t keep Phasma from demonstrating her sassy side on occasion, however, making her personality distinct and compelling within the stormtrooper army.

Phasma’s unique chromium polished armor was salvaged from Emperor Palpatine’s Naboo yacht and served as a symbol of her high rank to the stormtroopers she trained during her duty on Starkiller Base. Phasma claimed that not even a Wookiee could crush her armor, a bold claim about a species that could rip their enemies’ limbs off like they were flower petals. We don’t blame Phasma for not sticking around to prove that claim, of course. Wookiees are scary customers.

If you love the first female stormtrooper and want to dress up as the shiny and enigmatic Captain Phasma, our officially licensed Deluxe Star Wars The Force Awakens Captain Phasma Costume has everything you need to hunt Jedi in style. This high quality jumpsuit, helmet/mask, belt, and cape ensemble is certain to put you in a reflective mood.
